Something quickly dawned on me...

when I started up a new blog and I began to wonder "what was I thinking?"

I am not a writer.

I'm a pretty good speller, have decent punctuation skills and I like to think I'm fairly smart. I just keep asking myself, 'what do you even have to say?' I am not a traveler and I'm not a motivational speaker.. I am actually quite boring. Who even am I?

I'm a photographer.

My job is important.

Yes, I mostly work from home and can make my own schedule and some may view me as just a 'stay at home mom' (which we ALL know is an important job in itself!) Being a photographer is so much more...

I am a light catcher, time-stopper...

Chattanooga family photographer

I am a memory preserver.

I pose mothers to be in beautiful ways that create magical moments to look back on. I take babies and turn them into lasting artwork to display on your walls. I preserve those tiny details that time quickly steals away. I photograph life-changing events that you want to remember forever!

My job is important. I love what I do and I pray that God allows me to continue this career as long as I am serving Him and showing His love through me.

"In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." Matthew 5:16

With love,

Amanda
